Carol Howard

​

Carol Howard has served as the Director for Education Quality and Inclusion at Bright Horizons
since September of 2021. In her role, she leads projects and teams that ensure all programs
meet rigorous standards for quality and provide what’s best for young children. This includes
creating tools for measuring classroom environments and supporting teams with making sure
each child and family feels a sense of belonging to their Bright Horizons center. Over the course
of her career, she has been a classroom teacher, program director, and senior research
associate in community-based programs serving infants, toddlers and preschool age
children. Carol would tell you, her most important role is Mom. She lives in Milwaukee,
Wisconsin with her son. Carol has a degree in Bilingual Education from Boston University and
graduate certificate in Infant Studies from the Erikson Institute.
